From looking at the catalog pictures, it seems that Kirsten's plates are smaller than all the other dolls' dish sets. Are Kirsten's plates smaller than Kit's or Molly's plates , width-wise?

Also, does Kirsten's pitcher hold less than Kit's or Samantha's pitchers? Can you measure the amount of liquid these pitchers hold and post it? I'd be grateful if someone could find this out. I have Samantha's pitcher so I can find out how much liquid Samantha's pitcher holds. But I'm hesitant to get Kirsten's pitcher because it looks like it holds so little.

I'm a detail person so these crazy little details are something I'm interested in. If I had Josefina's green glasses & Kit's pink glasses, I'd measure how much they hold and compare them.

If you'd like, I can measure Kirsten's plates and pitcher, but I have the old Rowe pottery set, not the new ones available through AG. I don't know if the size has changed at all.

Kit Girl, a big THANK YOU for those photos! They answered all my questions! Thank you for the time it took you to get that info and take the pictures. Now I know to get Kirsten's stuff first, then Kit's. Eventually, I'd like to get all the dish sets. I'm hoping some of them will be on sale this year. I think some of the dish sets were on monthly sale last year but I wasn't able to purchase any at the time.

I love all the AG kitchen stuff. I have Addy's Sweet Potato Pudding Set, Felicity's Shrewsbury Cakes Set, Kit's Waffle Iron Set and the discontinued Girl of Today Christmas cookie set. I just ordered the AG of Today baking set with the little dress cookie cutters. Having all these AG kitchen sets will be especially cool now that I'll have a cookbook published by AG. =) It just seems right to have little reminders in my kitchen of my connection to my beloved American Girl Dolls.

Again, Kit Girl, thanks for the photos & measurements. May your pitchers never run out of Lemonade and may your plates always have cookies.

Oh yes, please, I would appreciate measurements! I have an old pitcher and two cups of Kirsten's. They might be the same as yours. I bought them on Ebay a while ago for $8.00. The pitcher has a defect in the side and the painting is slightly uneven. The seller probably got it from the MCM sale. I have nothing else from Kirsten's set, just the old pitcher and cups. I'm wondering if it would be worth it to buy the rest of the set. But if the plates are small, I'd rather buy Kit's dish set.

I'm looking for the doll set that can be used for real food, holding the most liquid in the cups and food on the plates. That's why I'd like to know the measurements. Plus I'm curious to see if the cups/glasses and plates & pitchers are uniform between all the dolls sets.

    Julia
